In other words, I've posted a lot of things on Craig's list in the last 24 hours.
Baby things. A bassinet, an ergo carrier, a bjorn (I apparently liked to carry the babies), a high chair, a hip diaper bag that I never used, etc. etc. Henry's old bikes.
Be gone with you! And show me the light. Or the wisdom. Or the money. I've got a new camera body to buy - so it's probably the latter (selling things to buy more things probably shoots the whole aforementioned theory straight to hell - I'm enlightened enough to see that).
Actually, I can simply go to Henry to better understand this sometimes unjust world. He drops judgement like a hammer.
You're bad? You get the unfair paddle. Good and just? You get the fair paddle. Goodbye gray area.
And speaking of unfair, how come these kids get to spend more time in bed in their pajamas than I do?
Exhibit A.
While she looks like the picture of preschool health here, this girl was CRANK about her new digs. Seriously and monumentally crank. It's been 2 weeks, and she's just now coming around to like her school about 1/4 as much as she like being with her Rosa. Oh, Rosa. We all miss her. There are many reasons for Stella to move on - even Rosa said it was time. But here's a quick side note - parenting is two bit whore sometimes.
So, while they'll let me (and when I'm not selling off all their junk to buy my own junk), I plan to let them lounge all they want.
And Dave will make them Star Wars pancakes (what up Theresa!).
