Sleeping with the fishes.

Or swimming with them.

Whichever.

The kids have swim lessons on Saturday mornings. And I'm a huge fan of watching...because here's a confession that will bore you straight to tears.

I can't swim.

Well, let's see, I can dog paddle (which Henry tells me is for dogs...what-evs).  But I can't manage that graceful, fabulous swimming that the olympians (or regular people) do.

Actually, if I was on the outside looking in - I'd say this is another example of me living vicariously. But I'm not on the outside, I'm on the inside. So it's fine. Just fine.

Anyway. It's a cold, fantastic way to start the weekend.

And here's another confession.

I totally dig being out-done by two sinky Sewards.

2 + 2 = 7

Sometimes things just don't add up.

Wearing shorts in 45 degree weather.

Sportin' sunglasses when it's raining and cloudy.

Scooping up wet dirt (aka mud) only to infuse it with more water via neon colored water bottles.

You see what I'm saying, right?

No?

Perhaps this may help.

Well.

I suppose getting the right answer isn't always what it's cracked up to be.

When He's 14.

He may look very similiar to this. Good grief.

Dora the Explorer.

Watching her is quite compelling...

Why 80 Is Better Than 51.

It's cold today.

And windy.

And Henry is in school.

Which reminds me that I like summer a lot better than whatever is happening right now.

Which also reminds me of one of our best Henry-Stella-Mom, last-days-of-summer outings.

It was 80 degrees.  We were at Remlinger Farms.  There were train rides and pony rides and rollercoasters.

And it looked a little something like this.

Lawrdy, summer really does kick bootie.

Now where's my sweater?

About Those Nuptials.

So about that wedding we went to last weekend...

My dear friend Chrissy married her dear friend Tino.

Whew.  What a fantastic joy to see one of your best friends get married.

And speaking of friends, most of my girls were there too...

And the bride's family...some of the most sincere, loving people I know.

And my fella and my stinks...they were there too.

That's enough love and well-dressed people to keep a girl happy for a while.

So congratulations, Chrisselda.

I simply love ya and your new husband to pieces.
