80 Degrees and Rising.

Our annual trip to the Lonestar state brought sunny skies, flowers, butterflies, cute kids, good food, family and - did I already mention this? - sunny skies.

And even though Stella tossed her tomato juice-laden cookies all over seats 28A and 28B on the way down, we got to do a little relaxing once we settled in.

And it went a little something like this.

Until next Christmas, sunny skies and Texas kin.

The Fairy.

Always.

Historically, the weather is always extreme the day before (or the day) we leave for a Texas holiday.

And today did not dissapoint.

Pouring, driving rain since last night at 5.  Wind like we rarely see.  Dark skies - like it's night.

I think it's nature's way of confusing me when I pack for the kids.  HOW will they not need a sweater, jeans and a heavy coat?

Oh, that's right.  Because it's 75 and sunny in Texas.

God bless it.

From The Phone.

Stella and I got to looking at photos on my phone last night.  They tell a pretty great story of some good living over the last several months.

There was the fabulous B's wedding.

Where Stella allowed her hair to be curled for the first time...

And there's getting to know Louis Nacho Libre Seward.

And some Halloween prep.

And a little trip down to the Bay Area.  With a party like folks should get to party every now and again.

That phone turns out to be one handy little teller of tales.
