One Fine Day.

Sometimes...all kinds of fine things can happen in 24 hours.

Like.

You get to wear your scout uniform.

To SCHOOL.

Patches and all.

And you get to play at the gym.

Bouncing, flipping, dancing.

And having a very fine time.

Day 4.

Yep. So we're 96 hours into bad roads, bad weather and casa-confinement.

And I believe if we looked up cabin fever in Dave's 30 year-old Webster, we'd find something along these lines.

So, Emerald City, we'll take the rain now.

Without complaint.

Well.

Possibly without complaint.

Check That.

We thought we've had some snow these last few days in Seattle.

But - apparently THIS is the day.

The snow day.

And, as it turns out, we live on a snazzy little hill for a time such a this.

Snow Day.

A good morning has been had.

It started with a good HJS/MLK conversation. As it turns out...equality, compassion and a general love of mankind seems fairly straight-forward and simple to a six-year old.

As in, "Duh, Mom."

And that's the kind of progress I dig.

Then we pulled on our snow boots  and headed to the zoo for some animal watching. We got a peek at three wolf sisters, a jaguar and a lion. Oh my.

And I got a peek at the business end of many snowballs made by stinky Seward children.

So, you know, let it snow...man.
